Chocolate Chia Smoothie
One of my favorite breakfasts on the go is a smoothie, and there are some days when nothing but chocolate will do. This quick and filling smoothie is packed full of nutrition and tastes like a treat, too.

  1. Place chia seeds in a small bowl and cover with about an inch of water. Allow to gel together for 5-10 minutes. Be sure to stir the seeds after adding the water to get all seeds activated.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to the blender, then add chia seeds after they have turned to gel.
  3. Turn your blender on low and increase speed to incorporate all the ingredients. Blend until smooth, then serve and enjoy.
